Legacy Fund Awarded Gill Foundation Grant

The Legacy Fund was just notified that it has been awarded a grant of $20,000.00 from The Gill Foundation of Colorado. The grant is to provide administrative and staff support for the fund.

The Gill Foundation was started by Tim Gill, the founder of Quark Industries. Gill Foundation invests in programs that effectively support its mission: To secure equal opportunity for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression.

The Gill Foundation is committed to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender organizations in all U.S. communities. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $81 million dollars to over 1,100 organizations.

By providing funds to Legacy for administrative support, the grant will enable Legacy to increase its efforts to establish its full endowment, to develop planned giving programs, and to improve its grantmaking efforts.

The Legacy Fund is grateful to The Gill Foundation for its show of support.
