By becoming a sponsor of the 2019 The Legacy Fund Honors, you can support the Legacy Fund and join the ranks of top Columbus-based companies and philanthropists.

The Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation is a unique endowment fund created by and for the central Ohio Lesbian / Gay / Bisexual / Transgender / Queer / Intersex/Ally (LGBTQIA) community.

With the advice of trusted community leaders, The Legacy Fund:

  • Makes strategic investments in the form of grants to help new and existing
    organizations become financially sustainable and achieve programmatic excellence;

  • Provides technical support to develop strong LGBTQIA community leadership and
    strengthen community institutions; and

  • Seeks to ensure through permanent, planned gifts, that the LGBTQIA community can
    face any challenges that confront it—now and for generations to come.

Showing your support has its perks.

Today, companies of all sizes demonstrate their understanding of the LGBTQ market and communicate that they are good employers, community partners, and financial underwriters. Now is the time to demonstrate leadership support for the LGBTQ community at large and reinforce your company’s diversity strategy.  Becoming a sponsor of The Legacy Fund’s Honors event on August 22, is an effective way to showcase your company’s progressive policies supporting and protecting diversity while positioning your brand before a sophisticated, committed group of individuals, many of whom are or may be current and future employees, clients, and investors.
